Fed Up says
Well, that covers just about all of them in Harford County – I’ll stick to home cooked!!
dismayed says
I encourage you to visit the cafeteria at Edgewood Middle School for the health and safety of the students and staff. There is no reason for the conditions and filth I have observed in this school. Obviously, the leadership team is not attentive to the overall appearance of this school. Please give us your input.
ALEX R says
Apparently, if Dismayed is to be believed, your visit should not include plans for eating while you are there at Edgewood Middle School cafeteria.
wow says
this is all of harford county. Does the Health Dept have a rubber stamp and use the same one for all the establishments? If all these places are given violations then why the heck aren’t there more notices being put on the establishment. I have eaten at these places and think SINCE I PAY TAXES THERE SHOULD BE BETTER NOTICE.
Bill says
One has to look no further than the health officer.
Incredible says
The problem lies within the storage of pre-cooked chicken. It must be kept at 38 degrees (I believe, not entirely sure on the exact value). However, if the chicken is at 40 degrees, only two degrees higher, then the chicken must be thrown out and a violation is issued.
CptnObvious says
It’s only ~3% of inspected establishments. Keep a little perspective. Most of these violations are for slightly cold hot dogs or slightly warm chicken.
Patrick McGrady says
Whatever would we do without the Maryland State Health Department making sure our food (that everybody eats with no problems) is safe?
CptnObvious says
die
as always just me says
I see they didn’t go to chill’s in Belair nor did they go to Fridays. Where in fact there the nastiness place for a family to go to. When a family member who worked for a pest control was called in to spray these places the kitchen was filled with cockroaches ever door he said he open covered the doors then ran. He also said he saw worker go pick they’re noses, had they’re hands down pants,Not only that he said they would drop food then put back in pan r plate, and here’s the worse the food left over on yur plates they re-give. NASTY NASTY . II would rather cook my own food then go out who the hell knows what’s in ur food spit, cum, shit, other people shit ? Think about it yu have AIDS Hep A ,B,C , god kns wat else me I will b save n health. Do to cookin at home
Mike S says
What a bunch of nitpicking, big government BS
Mikemike says
Trust me, if the health department came and inspected your home, you would be in violation too. This report is just one example of the overkill nonsense that government gets involved in to create work within the department. The food at these restaurants are so full of sodium and preservatives, the least of your worries should be bacteria and the potential that it actually makes you sick.
lbs says
Did you notice there is a hospital listed here? A community kitchen in a restaurant is one thing. A violation by a hospital is quite another.
Dumbass says
Oh damn, my hot dog at 7-11 is 2 degrees colder than it should be. I’m going to FREAK OUT AND NOT GO THERE NOW
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
ALEX R says
Upper Chesapeake Medical Center? Yikes! I guess what they say about hospital food is true after all. Or is it just that the Health Department doesn’t have anything really serious to do?
