From Del. Kathy Szeliga:
The 2012 Legislative Session has been busy and full of legislative surprises. I have received a lot of questions about this peculiar process. For 90 days (from the middle of January to the middle of April) the Maryland Legislature convenes in Annapolis to discuss, debate and vote on all types of legislation from budgets to regulations to wind power and septic systems. Each day brings something new. I wanted to take some time this week to show you what it is I do everyday for 90 days while I am representing you in Annapolis. I hope you enjoy this short video and as always I welcome you at anytime to come to Annapolis to a tour and to see the legislative process first hand.
A Day in the Life of Delegate Kathy Szeliga
Next week, many of the high profile bills will be passed and I will be able to give you a more detailed accounting of their outcomes. The 2012 Legislative Session will end at midnight on April 9th, just a little over a week from today. I look forward to sharing the outcomes of the many pieces of legislation we have been following all session.
Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Please keep them coming my way.
Kathy
