Fire Officials Investigate Late Night Havre de Grace Shed Blaze

Fire officials are seeking information in connection with a fire which broke out in a shed at a Havre de Grace residence just after midnight Wednesday.

According to a release from the state fire marshal’s office, the fire was reported at 12:17 p.m. by the owner of a shed located at a home in the 800 block of Martin Road in Havre de Grace. A total of 20 firefighters from the Havre de Grace and Level fire companies brought the blaze under control in about 10 minutes.

Damage to the 12-foot by 16-foot custom shed was estimated at $8,000, while damages to its contents were estimated at $4,000, the fire marshal’s office said.
