From the Aberdeen Police Department:
(Aberdeen, Maryland) March 12, 2012- Aberdeen Police are asking for the publics help in identifying suspect who assaulted a 46-year-old female who was walking in the area of Victory Street and Chesapeake Court at about 10:00 PM on March 7th.
The victim reported being grabbed from behind by a male subject. The male attempted to force the victim into a wooded area. The victim was screaming and punching the suspect who ultimately let the victim go. The victim returned to her residence and notified the police. The suspect could not be located. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, thin to medium build, about 5’7” to 5’9” tall wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
The have been no other reports of similar incidents in the area.
