BE A PART OF SOMETHING GREAT!
In order to meet the needs of eleventh grade students who are contemplating their future options, Harford County Public Schools will host Futures11, a series of informative sessions addressing issues relevant to high school juniors. These sessions will assist students in making informed and positive decisions regarding their academic and career pursuits. Session topics will include:
– STEM Challenge
– College Admissions
– Financing College
– Internships & Apprenticeships
– Facebook Etiquette, Online Resources & Security Clearance
– Hot Jobs – BRAC and Beyond
– Preparing for Job Interviews & Job Fairs
– Behavioral Analysis on How People Work Within an Organization
Approximately 450 high school juniors from Harford Technical High School, the Science and Mathematics Academy at Aberdeen High School, the Biomedical Sciences Program at Bel Air High School, the Academy of Finance at Edgewood High School, the Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness Program at Joppatowne High School, and the Global Studies and International Baccalaureate Program at Edgewood High School will attend this conference.
