The Bel Air Town Commissioners will hold public hearings Tuesday night on a proposed administrative fee to recover costs incurred for billing and construction management of storm water pond repairs for Homeowner’s Associations and an ordinance amending the town’s zoning code.
Resolution No. 973-12 would amend the town’s fee schedule to add a billing/construction management fee of “$30/property owner/year billed.” The full fee schedule can be found in the proposed resolution.
Ordinance No. 748-12 – Development Regulations Amendments would amend the town’s zoning code and development regulations to provide for an additional one-half story in the B-2 district for buildings up to 55 feet, allow for alternative front yard setback to be from edge of curb, for corner lots to adhere to front yard setback requirements for one frontage only, andto provide for a reduced parking requirement for residential uses in the B-2, B-2A and B-3A districts.
Also Tuesday night, the Board of Town Commissioners is expected to make a reappointment to the Historic Preservation Committee, approve an addendum to the town’s sewer service agreement with Harford County, and introduce a mid-year budget resolution.
The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in Bel Air Town Hall.
