From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
On Tuesday 02/14/12 deputies responded to Atlantic Tractor Inc. in the 700 block of Wheeler School Rd., in Whiteford, MD for an industrial accident.
Employees working in the office heard a loud noise and found their co-worker, a 47-year-old male employee from Whiteford MD, pinned under a tractor he was repairing. It appears that both rear tires had been removed and the jack stands being used to support the tractor had collapsed, pinning the employee underneath.
He was extricated from beneath the tractor and was transported by MSP Trooper 3 to Shock Trauma in serious condition. MOSHA was contacted.
