Fire officials are investigating a blaze which broke out in a vehicle in Aberdeen early Saturday morning.
According to the state fire marshal’s office, the fire broke out just before 3:40 a.m. Saturday morning in a two-door 2008 Volkswagen Beetle on the 2100 block of Clubhouse Road in Aberdeen. Seven firefighters from the Aberdeen Fire Department brought the blaze under control in 10 minutes. Members of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $1,700, and damage to its contents is estimated at $100.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bel Air office of the state fire marshal at (410) 836-4844.
