(Synopsis by Summit Entertainment)
Despite generating a lot of interest from the fan base, as a movie it’s only mediocre. Unfortunately, the only competition will be a kid’s film, so there’s no question that it will do well. Advice: save your money for this.
Happy Feet 2
Director: George Miller
Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKWNUyTGqss
Happy Feet Two returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica in superb 3D. Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem because his tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven-a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model. But things get worse when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father’s “guts and grit” as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures-from tiny Krill to giant Elephant Seals-to put things right. (Synopsis by Warner Brothers)
The current front runner in the 2011 “Why Does This Need to Be in 3D?” contest. Dancing in the footsteps of the first film with even more annoying pop songs, the newest installment is not garnering critics’ praise. “But there are many reasons to dance!” quoth the penguin. “Indeed.” replieth the critic. “It beats 90 minutes of watching you do it instead.’
