Flash Flood Watch in effect through Wednesday morning,
The NWS in sterling Virginia has issued a Flash flood watch for portions of north central Maryland and northern Maryland, Including The Following areas, In North central Maryland, Harford And Northern Baltimore Counties
Through Wednesday morning Periods of heavy rain will occur this afternoon and overnight across northeast Maryland. Rainfall amounts between one and two inches will be possible where thunderstorms repeatedly track
Precautionary/preparedness actions,
A flash flood watch means that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.
