From Harford County Government:
Harford County Executive David R. Craig, accompanied by James Richardson, Director of the Office of Economic Development and members of the OED staff, will be touring various business throughout the county during “Business Appreciation Week,” the week of September 19, 2011. County Executive Craig and his staff will visit approximately 30 local businesses in five separate areas of the county, including the three municipalities.
Businesses and industry of all sizes will be recognized during the tour as well as thanked personally by County Executive Craig for their contributions to the county’s economy and quality of life.
“Business is vital to economic development, growth and stability of Harford County,” stated County Executive Craig. “I look forward to visiting several of our businesses to hear first-hand of the challenges and opportunities that confront them during these difficult fiscal times,” Craig remarked.
Harford County “Business Appreciation Week” will also feature other special events, including the 2011 Harford County Chamber of Commerce “Harford Award Dinner” and the “Harford County Tourism Industry Networking Luncheon.”
“Business Appreciation Week is a time for Harford County to express our appreciation and thanks to our business partners and recognize them for the economic strength, stability and growth they bring to our economy,” stated Director Richardson.
