The public is invited to attend the Bel Air High School 9/11 Memorial Open House, which has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 17 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. A steel beam from the World Trade Center and other artifacts from the terrorist attacks will be on permanent display in the main lobby of the school.
A memorial of 2,977 American flags, representing each life lost in the attacks, will be on display in front of Bel Air High School through September 20.

I want to thank BAHS for constructing the memorial. I’m really happy to see that, for the most part, Harford County Public Schools have not glossed over the events of 9/11, and continue to teach our kids about that tragic day. Even my kids in elementary school have been taught about that day, in terms that are appropriate for their age. Thanks again.
