A fire during the early morning hours Saturday damaged a camper in White Hall, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
The blaze was reported just after 1 a.m. by a passing motorist in the interior of a 14-foot by 20-foot camper unit located in a field on the 4800 block of Amos Road in White Hall. Six firefighters from the Norrisville Volunteer Fire Company brought the fire under control in about 10 minutes.
The camper was not in use at the time of the blaze, and damage to the unit was estimated at $500, according to authorities. The fire was determined to be incendiary in nature.
