From All For One Cure (AFOC):
On Thursday, June 23 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Cedar Lane Regional Park will be hosting the All For One Cure (AFOC) Benefit Festival, a family-friendly, all-day music festival. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Cancer society, and performing acts are local Maryland bands.
Started in 2010, the AFOC concert was held in a Bel Air church and featured local Harford County high school bands. The AFOC festival was founded by recent Science and Mathematics Academy graduates Kalliopi Drakos and Molleshree Karna, and it is planned and run entirely by high school students interested in supporting local music and the American Cancer Society.
This year, the AFOC Benefit Festival will feature over twenty-five bands from Harford County, Baltimore, and Washington, DC. These bands include Chasing Morgan, Sons of the Radio, Blowing the Lead, Monteclair, The Alckemists, The Riot, Failure by Design and many others. A complete lineup can be viewed on the AFOC Festival’s Facebook page, “All For One Cure Benefit.” Tickets to the event will be sold at the door for $10. There will be food and drink vendors, DJs, and open play on the fields of Cedar Lane.
