Aberdeen firefighters responded to a small incendiary fire on Edmund Street in that city Tuesday morning, according to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
The fire was reported just after 5:30 a.m. in the rear of a duplex on the 600 block of Edmund Street by the son of the building’s owners. Six firefighters from the Aberdeen Fire Department and the Aberdeen Police Department responded, but found the blaze had been extinguished prior to their arrival.
The cost of damage to the structure is estimated at $5,000. Anyone with information is asked to call the Bel Air office of the State Fire Marshal at 410-836-4844.
