From the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
[April 26, 2011, Jarrettsville MD] – At approximately 7:36pm on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, Harford County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a single vehicle accident involving a 2005 Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle that occurred in the 1400 block of W. Jarrettsville Road. The motorcycle was operated by David Allen Butler, age 38, of the 2600 block of Bailey Road in Forest Hill, MD.
Preliminary investigation by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit determined that the motorcycle had been traveling at a high rate of speed, eastbound on W. Jarrettsville Road near the intersection of Old Federal Hill Road. After failing to negotiate a curve in the road properly, the motorcycle ran off the northern edge of the westbound lane of W. Jarrettsville Road, climbed an embankment and then struck a utility pole. The operator of the motorcycle, Butler, was pronounced deceased at the scene by Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company EMS personnel.
The driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. There was no presence or odor of alcohol detected on the driver. The driver did not possess a valid driver’s license at the time of the accident.
This is the first fatal vehicle accident handled by Harford County Sheriff’s Office in 2011.

SO this was the first fatal accident handled by the Harco sherrifs, who handled the one in darlington a few days ago, and i past a scene in January that they were on site and it ended up being a fatal…
