Downtown Parking Study Findings to be Presented at February 22 Havre de Grace City Council Meeting

From Havre de Grace Main Street, Inc.:

The Chesapeake Group Inc. will make a presentation to Havre de Grace City Council on the parking portion of the Economic Revitalization Plan at the February 22, 2011 City Council meeting. The Chesapeake Group is a professional consulting firm hired by the City of Havre de Grace in partnership with Havre de Grace Main Street Inc.

The presentation to City Council will include data on the current supply and demand of parking in the downtown business district. The Chesapeake Group will present recommendations to improve present and future parking conditions.

At the February 22, 2011 City Council meeting, Council President Martin will also announce dates and times of future public work sessions where public input will be heard by staff and elected officials.

The Mayor strongly encourages community involvement at the subsequent public work sessions to ensure a comprehensive and successful parking study.
