Sen. Glassman’s Senate Bill 69 – Property Tax – Assessment Appeal Hearings – Right to Record Moves to Senate Floor

Senator Glassman’s Senate Bill 69 Property Tax – Assessment Appeal Hearings- Right to Record, quickly passed out of the Budget and Taxation Committee and will be moving to the Senate Floor.

Senate Bill 69 will allow a homeowner to record a property assessment appeal hearing at their own expense and add it to the Property Owner’s Bill of Rights. This action is currently permitted in some jurisdictions but prohibited in others and this bill will provide a consistent law all across the State of Maryland.
