From the office of Sen. J.B. Jennings:
The Legislative Session is officially underway in Annapolis. It has been an honor to serve as one of your delegates from the District 7 since I was elected in 2003. As I begin a new journey serving as your new State Senator, it is my pledge to continue the same integrity, commitment, and dedicated service that I have provided to District 7 for the past eight years as Delegate.
There are important issues being discussed by lawmakers representing the State of Maryland. Some of these important issues will be addressed in the Senate Education Health, and Environmental Committee, of which I am now a member. I will continue to look closely at every bill that comes before me and vote with my conscience while keeping in mind the wishes of my constituents.
We have bill hearings every day on the whole gamut of issues. The public is free to testify on any bill. If you would ever like to testify, please let me know and I can help facilitate your legislative testimony.
If you are interested in visiting Annapolis and seeing what takes place here, I would be honored to have you as my guest. Visitors can be given tours of the State Capitol, the House and Senate Office Buildings.
As your new State Senator, it comes with great pleasure to introduce to District 7 my staff. Richard Reinhardt, Chief of Staff; Nicole Osssola, Director of Special Projects; Sean Kammer, Legislative Liaison; Hilary Pennington, Director of Communications; and Staff Assistants, Tim Mantegna and Christopher Stott.
My staff and I are eager to hear your questions, comments, and complaints as well. We would love to see you here in Annapolis. The drive is about an hour from our district, and out state capital is beautiful even in the winter. If you are interested in visiting us, call my Annapolis office at (410) 841-3706 or email me at JB.Jennings@senate.state.md.us.
Again, I look forward to doing whatever I can to serve the citizens of District 7 and the State of Maryland.
Respectfully yours,
Senator J.B. Jennings, Legislative District 7
