(Belcamp, Maryland – January 26, 2011) Enthusiastic customers gathered at the Bel Air Branch of Harford County Public Library on January 24 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the branch. The afternoon’s festivities included live music from several local students, a visit from Tales, the library mascot; a photo display of the history of the branch, crafts, 1960’s trivia and refreshments.
Harford County Public Library operates eleven branches located throughout Harford County, Maryland. The library serves over 210,000 registered borrowers of all ages and has an annual circulation of almost 4,700,000. Harford County Public Library is committed to connecting people with information and promoting the love of reading within the community.
