From the office of Del. Mary-Dulany James:
Dear Friends:
I am honored to invite you to come celebrate the contributions our venerated veterans make to our country.
This Thursday, January 27th, after the legislative session ends around 11:00, please join me and my colleagues in the annual Fallen Heroes Remembrance Day Ceremony held by the Maryland Veterans Caucus, in the House of Delegates Chamber in Annapolis.
This event honors Maryland veterans who sacrificed their lives over the past year in the name of our country. Names of the deceased service members will be read aloud, followed by a moment of silence. This is the assembly’s way of recognizing these great men and women who answered the call for our state and country, and gave their full measure.
I am a strong supporter of military and veterans families, in Harford and Cecil counties in particular, and I take great pride in attending this year’s Remembrance Day. If you are a service member or a veteran and are interested in attending the ceremony in the gallery, please let my Aide Daniel Clark know at dclark@house.state.md.us or call 410-841-3331.
Very Truly Yours,
Mary-Dulany James

I am unable to attend the fallen hero event due to my failing health issues but I ask Mary – Delaney James to keep in her mind and heart one fallen troop from years past. I do not want his name or memory forgotten his name is Ronald Spudis he was the omly resident from Havre de Grace to return home to his family in a box from the Vietnam war.
