From the Aberdeen Police Department:
January 12, 2011 at approximately 9:42 pm officers were dispatched to the area Battle Avenue for a reported armed robbery.
Investigation revealed two subjects entered a ABC cab, one suspect held what the cab driver believed to be a gun to the back of his head and demanded money. The two suspects exited the cab after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area on foot. The cab driver was not injured.
The suspects are described as black males in their mid twenties, one wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and the other wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
