A car being chased by Maryland Transportation Authority Police crashed Wednesday afternoon in Aberdeen and had police searching for the suspect – who bailed out and was possibly armed.
Aberdeen schools were temporarily locked down around 4 p.m. Wednesday while police searched for the suspect, who bailed out of his vehicle and escaped on foot after crashing on Paradise Road.
By 4:30 p.m., the schools had been reopened and the Aberdeen Police Department had set up a command station and were searching for the suspect.
