From Harford Community College:
The National Players will perform The Scarlet Letter in Harford Community College’s Chesapeake Theater on Saturday, December 4, at 7:30 PM.
Hester Prynne is a woman defined by her sin – not the adultery for which she bears the punishment of a scarlet red “A” emblazoned on her chest but her silence about the accomplice in the crime. National Players brings Nathaniel Hawthorne’s masterpiece to life with the conflict between emotion and intellect.
Tickets are $8-$16 and are available at the HCC Ticket Office in the Chesapeake Center or by calling 443-412-2211. Reasonable accommodations for a documented disability may be requested by calling Disability Support Services, 443-412-2402, in advance of participation. A minimum notice of 10 working days may be needed to provide some accommodations.
The HCC Fine Arts Calendar is made possible by a grant from Maryland State Arts Council, an agency funded by the State of Maryland and the National Endowment for the Arts; grants from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Harford County Government through the Harford County Cultural Arts Board; and grants from other federal and state agencies.
