Public Hearing Schedule for Harford County Elementary School Redistricting to be Released Next Week

Elementary Redistricting Update

Dear Elementary School Parents;

On Monday, November 29, the Board of Education will receive a presentation during a work session on the proposed elementary redistricting plan, which is the same presentation the Focus Groups received last week. That meeting is an opportunity for the Board to hear the formal presentation and ask questions of the Superintendent’s Technical Advisory Committee (STAC). The work session will be videotaped and placed on the school system’s website. While general public comment is not accepted at work sessions, we have scheduled several opportunities for public feedback in the coming months. We will hold seven Board hearings between the months of December and February. The Board Hearings schedule with locations, dates, and times will be released next week.
