Harford County’s Upcoming School Supply Drives and Back to School Give-A-Ways

The Harford County Department of Community Services is pleased to announce the following school supply drives and back to school give-a-way days in Harford County. The following agencies/organizations continue to provide valuable and necessary services to our most vulnerable citizens. For questions, please contact the specific agency directly.

AGENCIES HOSTING SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVES

Greater Edgewood Education Foundation
School Supply Drive will be held July 12 – August 13 to support students at Deerfield, Edgewood, William Paca/Old Post Road Elementary schools, Edgewood Middle and Edgewood High Schools.
Drop off location: Edgewood Elementary school during daytime business hours.

Inner County Outreach’s Under the Big Tent Celebration
Event will be held Saturday, September 11 from noon-2pm at 529 Edmund Street in Aberdeen and will include food distribution, school supplies and vendors representing area agencies and non-profits who provide services to low-income.

Word of Faith International Outreach
School Supply Drive will begin on August 7th and will be collected during regular services and during the Gospel Comedy Show. Also looking for volunteers to prep donations. For more information, contact Evangelist Mary Taylor at 410-273-8995 or Sister Rhonda Davis at 410-272-5173.

Extreme Family Outreach/Connection Community Church

Ready2Learn– open to teachers only /one time per month; no direct student services Date: open Wednesday and Thursday afternoons beginning September 1, 2010 throughout the school year.
