From Harford County government:
Early Voting will be offered for the first time in Maryland prior to the 2010 Primary Election scheduled for September 14. From September 3 to September 9 (excluding Sunday, September 5), early voting will occur from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Bel Air Library, located at 100 Pennsylvania Avenue in Bel Air.
As a service to Harford County voters, Harford Transit Link will provide a bus stop at the Early Voting Center on its Routes 1 and 3 on September 3, as well as September 7, 8, and 9. The bus service, however, will not be available over Labor Day weekend. All Harford Transit Link routes can be used to transfer to a route that will stop at the Early Voting Center. Regular Bus routes operate from 6:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. However, the last bus leaving the Early Voting Center at the Bel Air Library will depart at approximately 4:50 p.m.
Interested bus riders are highly encouraged to contact Harford Transit Link in advance to verify bus routes and schedules. Harford Transit Link will also provide a bus stop for early voting during the General Election from October 22 to October 28, on weekdays only. The General Election will be held on November 2, 2010.Any Harford County voter can cast their ballot prior to Election Day during Early Voting.
Unlike absentee ballots, voters can use the electronic voting equipment. Early Voting is being offered as another opportunity for the voters to exercise their right to vote.
