From the office of Del. Mary-Dulany James:
I had the pleasure last weekend of introducing bond bills for worthy projects in our community. The three projects are Nuttal Avenue Park in Edgewood, Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center in Havre de Grace and the Lower Susquehanna Heritage Greenway in Perryville. I know that any State money I can get will create jobs and better our area.
Early voting is something that has come up in recent discussions with my colleagues as we near the end of session and elections are fast approaching. I want to know how you feel about early voting in Harford County, so please take my online survey by clicking here.
Delegate Dan Riley and I have been working on the planning of our . The meeting will be located at the American Legion, Post #128 in Aberdeen and will begin at 7pm. We will update you on the status of our legislation and have petitions for you to sign to encourage the Governor to sign the bills into law. The key topics will be Public Safety and Veterans issues but we will be there to discuss any questions you may have about our other legislation, key issues this session or the budget. I hope all of you will try and make it on Wednesday, March 31st.
Please take some time to look at my new website, still located at www.marydulanyjames.com. There are some blog postings that give you more updates as to what I am doing in Annapolis, as well as a link to the scholarship application, a sign up form for this newsletter (in case you know anyone else who may want to receive it), legislative updates, and more, so take a few minutes to check it out. Remember, scholarship applications are due April 2nd so get the form from my site and send them in!
Very Truly Yours,
Mary-Dulany James
