(Bel Air, MD) Troopers assist Virginia Beach (Va.) Police Department in child sex abuse investigation.
On 09/02/09, troopers from the MD State Police- Bel Air Barrack arrested John David Wallace (Age 29) of the 1700 Block of Landmark Drive in Forest Hill on an out of state arrest warrant.
The investigation began in mid June of 2009 when members of the barrack criminal investigation section were contacted by a detective from the Virginia Beach Police Department requesting assistance in locating Wallace. Wallace was under investigation for sexual battery of a female relative who was under 13 at the time of the alleged act.
Troopers were able to locate Wallace at his place of employment in the Town of Bel Air. After conducting lengthy interviews with Wallace, troopers gathered enough evidence for Virginia Beach Detectives to obtain an arrest warrant. Wallace was taken into custody without incident at his place of employment in Bel Air. He is currently being held at the Harford County Detention Center pending extradition to Virginia.
Accused: John David Wallace, W/M, 29 yoa, 1700 block of Landmark Drive, Forest Hill, MD. 21050. Charges: Fugitive From Justice, Aggravated Sexual Battery by Sexually Abusing Person Who is Less Than 13 Years of Age.

yeah i actually know this guy, he is a great guy, straight forward, easy going, nice as can be and a hard worker i do not believe that he would do this. he was in the army for goodness sakes, served in iraq to protect our country and he’s helped me so much with my career and taught me a lot of things. this has to be some kind of misunderstanding.

You never really know anyone!! It’s not like a sex offender is going to tell you that he’s a sex offender…doubt it. I don’t know this guy but if it’s true and evidence is there to prove it than send him off to prison w/ Raynor.
typical, judging someone and trying to come up with a punishment of a person you know nothing about and without any type of evidence or proof or knowledege of any type of bacjground to the story, how would you like to be on the other end of this? what if you were just arrested one day out of random and were innocent and with these allegations against you, and you saw your story on here and some jerk gets on here and writes in, and bashes you by making a stupid comment like that without even knowing the you? so why do it to someone else?
Chill, Bryan. You know him, we know that, but take a deep breath and re-read the part in A’s post that says “but if it’s true and evidence is there to prove it” before you jump all over him. Yes, this is “typical” – someone wrongly attacking an innocent poster.
