The following was received from the office of Del. Rick Impallaria:
I want to thank all of you who attended our TEA Party last Saturday. Hopefully we all learned something, had a good time, and, most importantly, showed our patriotism for our country and our concern for the wrong turn it is making.
I also want to thank you, the Update readers, for your patience and support over the past Session. I have never sent out so many Updates, but there had never been so much bad legislation for Marylanders to be concerned about.
As a minority party, we are always outvoted, but what we can do is let people know what the Legislature is trying to do to them. It is you who must start making your opinions known, and it is my job to help you do this most effectively. The main thing is not to give up. As a wise woman once said,
“It ain’t over til you quit.”
Thank you all for being concerned citizens.

Delegate, District 7

I thought the TEA Parties were “non-partisan” and not about party? Del. Impallaria implies in the begining of paragraph 3 implies he and this party are only concerned with one party. I am confused.

I don’t think there’s any confusion. the republican’s are slipping. the democrat’s are patting them self’s on the back for a good job well done. & the tax payer will continue too pay higher tax’s.

I was confused about the fact that the TEA parties were non-partisan.
