The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is searching for anyone with information regarding a 3-year-old girl who was found unattended and evidently abandoned at a Bel Air Restaurant on Sunday.
She has identified herself as Keyshanna (sp?) and is 42 inches tall. Keyshanna was brought to the Chuck E. Cheese Restaurant located in the Festival Shopping Center in Bel Air prior to 4:30 p.m. Sunday and was found without adult supervision at 6:48 p.m.
At this time it is unknown where this child’s family is located, however, she has identified an “Uncle Damon” as someone who possibly dropped her off.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Sheriff’s Office southern precinct at 410-612-1717. At this time she is in the care of the Sheriff’s Office and will be turned over to Child Protective Services.

Updated at 11:45 a.m. from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:
“At approximately 8:40 a.m. this morning relatives came to the Sheriff’s Office inquiring about the missing little girl. Detectives identified her as Deshawna Tyson, 4 years old. They spoke with the relatives and the mother and have confirmed the following: Deshawna’s aunt and aunt’s boyfriend went to Chuck E. Cheese with Deshawna and eight other children. They each drove in separate cars arriving between 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. at Chuck E. Cheese. When they left the aunt believed the boyfriend had Deshawna and the boyfriend believed the aunt had Deshawna. They arrived home and all children went directly to bed. During the evening one of the children made a statement that they were all well and fast asleep. Deshawna’s mother came home later that evening and went to bed after a tiring day of work. Both the mother and the aunt realized that Deshawna was not at home when they saw her picture on the 5:00 a.m. news.
Detectives will consult with the State’s Attorney to see if there are any appropriate charges. The family is now working with social services regarding the care and custody of Deshawna.”

I know I check on my son everynight before I go to sleep. You would think one of the adults would do a “head count” having 8 kids to watch. Sorry but that was just ill judgement on the adults. If I was the Mom I would wanting someone’s head on a platter. This poor child is probaly scarred from the ordeal.
