MCHENRY, Md.—The Harford women’s basketball team managed just 15 points in the second half, as it fell to Garrett, 57-43, on Monday night at Garrett Community College.
The Fighting Owls (3-10, 0-7 MDJUCO) took only a four-point deficit into halftime, 32-28, but couldn’t find the back of net as the Lakers (3-6, 3-3 MDJUCO) outscored them, 25-15 in the second half.
Sophomore Jasmine Parsons (Edgewood, Md./Joppatowne) led the Owls with 11 points, on 5-for-8 shooting, while pulling down five rebounds and blocking one shot, all in the first half of play, while sophomore Marie Fox (Edgewood, Md./Edgewood) added nine points and two boards.
The Fighting Owls return to action on Friday when they travel to Hagerstown for a 6:00 p.m. matchup against the Hawks.
