COUNTY EXECUTIVE URGES COUNTY EMPLOYEES TO SHOW THEIR SUPPORT FOR THE RAVENS
(Bel Air, MD – January 8, 2009) – – County Executive David R. Craig is urging county employees to show their pride and support of the Baltimore Ravens by proudly wearing Ravens apparel or colors to work tomorrow.
“The Baltimore Ravens have had a remarkable year and everyone should be proud of their accomplishments and the hope for another Super Bowl this year,” remarked County Executive Craig. “Purple Passion Friday is one way Harford County employees can let everyone know we support our Ravens,” Craig stated.
The county executive plans to continue the practice of “Purple Passion Friday” throughout the playoffs as the Baltimore Ravens march toward a second Super Bowl in the team’s brief history.
