William S. James Elementary School in Abingdon was locked down by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office early Friday afternoon as a precautionary measure after a nearby bank was robbed. Police said Harford Bank was robbed Friday afternoon and a suspect fled in the direction of the elementary school, prompting the lockdown.
