LINCROFT, N.J.—The Harford men’s soccer team managed just five shots but played a great game defensively as it battled a strong Brookdale to a 0-0 scoreless draw on Thursday afternoon at Brookdale.
Freshman keeper Taylor Dize (Bel Air, Md./Salem Christian) stopped a season-high 14 shots, while his counterpart Robert Daley pulled in five balls.
Freshman midfielder Brian Six (Pylesville, Md./North Harford) led the Fighting Owls (2-5-1) offensive output with two shots on goal, while the Jersey Blues held a 9-4 advantage on corner kicks.
Freshman midfielder Jared Ferguson (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) received the only yellow card of the game in the 55th minute, his fifth of the season, which will force him to miss the next game.
The Fighting Owls return to action this Saturday when they welcome Delaware-Tech Terry to Harford Stadium for a 12:00 p.m. matchup.
