Was the Aberdeen Kentucky Fried Chicken closed BECAUSE of it’s “contamination, spoilage and adulteration?”
Also, I thought they couldn’t call them that anymore and had to change the name to KFC because there technically wasn’t any chicken in the product they produce and sell. Maybe I’m confusing my conspiracy theories here…
The best part about this report is that there is no differentiation among establishments. The presumably highest class facilities (Bulle Rock) are subjected to the same scrutiny and violations as some of the lower end joints (Camp Ramblewood). Or so it seems.

I guess that Kentucy Fried Chicken was using Imitation Bones as well as Imitation Chicken GOOD MORNING
vietnam vet says
the kentucky fried chicken in aberdeen was a pig stye. I filed several complaint’s to the main office. they could care less.
Dave Yensan says
They were closed down because the roof fell in! Something was wrong with the drain system and all the rain water just sat up there until the weight finally got the best of it.
They stopped calling themselves Kentucky Fried Chicken some time back, because the name sounded politically incorrect. Now that we know how to fry in poly un-whatever the hell they are going back to the old name. They always used real chicken in the dinners and so forth, it was the nuggets and fingers and stuff wher they used mixed parts.

Did you question or find out what “Food must be held at proper temperature.” is supposed to mean. It seems to apply to every one of the places. Cites like “Food must be protected from contamination, spoilage and adulteration” seem pretty clear.

Wow! I can’t believe the HdG McDonald’s or Burger King was not given a citation….those are the dirtiest fast food places I’ve ever been too…..they probably just were not inspected….
vietnam vet says
has’nt been long ago aberdeen mc donald’s had some mold growing on the wall’s. far right of the counter and down close to the floor. I guess there to busy to stop and clean it up.
last time I stopped at burger king at apg it was none to clean.

well if they are gonna put all these places in violation of code why isnt little ceasars pizza from belair or forest hill(whatever you call it), aberdeen and edgewood on this list! in the bel air store i watch a boy pick up pepperoni’s off the floor n put them on the pizza, i always see people eating in the back while working, at all the stores. then i see these women who are working with the food with no gloves on having finger nails as long as their fingers, i mean really think about it, i have had my nails done and i know how much crud gets up under them! i always see people touching their face or hair and go right back to work. dont let me forget most the women i see working do not have their hair pulled back! AND i know that none of the employees wear gloves while prepping food! i have gotten pizza from all 3 locations while traveling out to do errands and alot of the time the pizza isnt cooked all the way and i have to put it in my oven at home, i have gotten chicken wings from there and they were the most dried out meat that i have ever seen next to jerky! sorry little ceasars your remodeling really isnt helping maybe you should have invested in more employees who cared about their jobs and pushed for a better service!

Dave, Looking through the Code of Maryland Regulations, I found what I believe are the definitions for some of the critical violations:
10.15.03.11. 11 Food Preparation?Cooling and Reheating of Potentially Hazardous Foods.. The person-in-charge shall ensure that:. A. Except as specified in Regulation .06B(8) of this chapter, a:. 1) Potentially hazardous cooked food’s internal temperature is cooled from 135°F to 70°F within 2 hours and from 70°F to 41°F or less within an additional 4 hours; and2) Ready-to-eat potentially hazardous food for cold service, such as reconstituted foods, salads, and canned meat, are cooled
and
10.15.03.06. 06 Food Protection During Storage, Service, and Transport.. The person-in-charge shall ensure that:. A. At all times:. 1) Food is:. a) Not adulterated; and. b) Protected from contamination during storage, preparation, display, service, and transportation;. 2) The internal temperature of a food is maintained according to the requirements of this chapter to preclude the growth of pathogenic bacteria and other microorganisms that could cause spoilage;

hey guys, i have taken 2 food safety classes and had from both been certified. what you have listed is very true but alot of people do not understand the way that it is read above. trust me, i am not taking up for anyone here, but you wont believe how many uneducated people work for the food industry. alot of workers think of it as being at home, where they would normally do something there so the do it in the restaurants. i after taking the classes had gotten a better understanding of the when, what, where, n why on food! personally everyone that works in food industry should be required to have taken and be certified in food safety! when i took my first class, i before hand had a hard time with proper procedures! there was alot that i didn’t understand, after taking the classes i even go to my own kitchen and do it the right way now!
the info listed above doesnt list about all timing and tempatures, for instance beef is cooked at a certain time n temp…. then poultry is another….. fish is another…..veggies has its own…..( sorry i cant remember them right off, i need to find my books) then uncooked food can only be held for a certain time in the fridge! now to cross- contamination, that comes from for example, using the same knife cutting up beef then chicken, or cutting veggies and accidentally laying your knife(or any utensil) in the pool of goo from a meat or the utensil hitting the floor! see the info above is, how do i put it, its definately true and correct but not specific enough. you know how we all go to the dr’s office and sometimes look at them like they have 6 heads, because we dont understand some term they use…. this is sorta the same.
i could sit here and go on and on, if everyone wants a better view on what i’m taking about, then google the national restaurant association and you should be able to get on to the site and read all the info!

Brad, my fiance and I live in Joppa. He worked in restaurants for years and totally understands how ridiculous the food temperature violation is. We enjoy your subs and wraps at Grill Sensations.
